MESSAGE
FROM
THE
DEAN
Greetings, my friends – fellow organ guild fans;
I hope you are eager to hear of our plans.
I don’t want to spoil the surprises ahead;
The plan is to pique your interest instead.

Sometime during next year we hope to hear play
Organists from nearby and some far away.
Recitals and workshops are sure to inspire
And help with our playing and in training our choir.

A field trip is planned for sometime in the fall,
And we’ll work out a way to transport us all.
A progressive dinner on 44th Street
Is planned as a time when we just meet and eat.

And then toward the end of the year we’ll combine
Our choirs for a Guild Sunday Service divine.
We hope every member will come when you can,
The dates are forthcoming so that you can plan.

A few of you have still not renewed your membership for 2010-2011.
If you are one of those, please drop everything and take care of it
today.  Remember that if we have 90% of our current members’ dues in
to headquarters by September 1, we will be entered in a drawing that
could award us $500.  Contact any one of the officers if you need a
renewal form.

The next Dean’s Letter will include instructions for making your
dinner reservation for our September 27 meeting at First Presbyterian
Church.  We hope to see most of you there for some fine food,
fellowship, fun, and music!

Thanks,
James
